IMBA Foundations are in-depth workshops designed to catalyze the next generation of great places to ride mountain bikes. Attendees will learn what it takes to create a model trail community and return home with the knowledge and guidance for how to make it happen.
April 17: Why trails, why mountain biking?
Riding has moved past social paths, to professionally designed and built trail systems. Learn from communities that successfully engaged stakeholders, gathering the support and funding needed to create successful trail towns. Resulting wellness, and economic benefits lift residents, visitors, and businesses.
April 18: From breaking ground to ribbon cutting and beyond.
You’ve built significant interest in your vision, congrats! Create a plan that’ll fit your current resources and scale over time, alongside trail users. Project design considers maintenance, risk management, and more. You’ll also learn to promote your new asset and collect the feedback and data necessary to preserve the investment.
