The Trail Skills Project is a collaboration of trail nonprofits, federal agencies, and universities launched to serve as the workforce hub for the trails community providing connections to trails education, trail expertise, professional development, and job opportunities (trailskills.org). The project was launched in an effort to create shared language defining trail competencies through the Trail Competency Framework, the foundation on which the website is organized.   • Learn what individuals, organizations, companies, agencies, and trail trainers can do on the Trail Skills Project website
  • Learn about the Trail Competency Framework including the survey research project, its organization, and next steps
  • Learn about workforce development needs within the trail industry and how this project is seeking to address some of these needs
  • Learn how the skills break out of the Trail Competency Framework can be integrated into trails training
