I manage the Volunteer program at the Arizona Trail Association, organizing over 20,000 hours of volunteer service hours each year. I run our Trail Skills Institute - a program of 8-12 in-person training courses each year, plus an online certificate program. The ATA's Trail Operations program integrates with the Volunteer program to coordinate most aspects of trail management, construction and design. I am also adjunct faculty at the University of Arizona and would like to somehow integrate my trail knowledge/connections into my role there.
