Hike the Hill® 2026

In 2026, the trails community faces a sense of urgency unlike any seen in recent years as a new administration and Congress look to reshape the federal government and funding. It is paramount that the trails community’s voice is heard by attending in-person or if unable to come to DC to meet locally with district staff to form or strengthen key relationships and demonstrate the importance and value of trails.

Join trail partners from across the nation for virtual issue briefings, in-person group meetings, and a Trails Celebration to advocate for legislation, learn about new policy developments, and meet with federal partners, elected officials and their staff.
