Toms Run Preserve trail system

2014 Six miles south of Morgantown, West-By-God Virginia

Role: Trail Planner, Designer, Builder, Maintainer. Volunteer Coordinator.

This was the first West Virginia Land Trust preserve that has a hand-built foot trail system. Four miles have been constructed so far, with the same amount planned for the next ten years. All staff and volunteer built. Zero erosion. Low-cost, easily sustainable. Beautiful mature 'Community Forest' protects the soil and water.
