Role: Project Supervisor
The summer of 2024 I helped supervise the AMC crew who were installing wood retaining walls, belay pads, wood stairs and stone stairs at Main Cliff. Most of my involvement was with materials transport. I set up multiple aerial rigging systems spanning 350+ feet and gaining about 80 feet of elevation in order to get 8x8 and 6x6 dimensional lumber to the site. I introduced a new piece of equipment (capstan winch) and trained everyone on how to safely and efficiently haul loads up a steep aerial line.
