Backyard Trails LLC served as the lead construction contractor for the Pinicon Ridge Park Singletrack system in Linn County, Iowa. Working in collaboration with Linn County Conservation and local partners, Backyard Trails developed more than five miles of purpose-built natural surface singletrack designed to provide a high quality shared use experience for mountain bikers, runners, and hikers. The project involved careful alignment through mature forest terrain, sustainable trail construction techniques, and features that balance ride quality with environmental stewardship. The resulting trail network offers a progressive riding experience within scenic forest corridors, establishing Pinicon Ridge as a premier singletrack destination in Iowa.
