I was the project supervisor for the Youth Employment in Parks program, a municipality program that hires a trail professional to lead the youth crews for the season.
Chanshtnu Muldoon Park Transformation - Constructed a soft-surface trail to a viewpoint overlook, hauled and compacted over 100 tons of E1 gravel for an ADA community garden, removed 100 invasive European Bird Cherry trees in the immediate area, built 12 ADA accessible raised garden beds for the community garden.
Tour of Anchorage Trail Resurfacing - Applied E1 to elevate and repair heavily rutted, waterlogged trail segments.
McHugh Creek & Chugach State Park Work - Tree planting in a burn area on the South edge of town in the state park.
