This project revitalized a degrading trail system that was plagued with poorly routed social trails through bogs and advancing swamps. Boggy routes were decommissioned, running plank installed along wet routes where rerouting was not feasible, a 20'-span milled stringer bridge built, and bench-cut reroutes built to connect trail users to a more sustainable, historic alignment that was forgotten over time.
