Role: Professional Trail Builder
Backyard Trails LLC has worked with a nonprofit trail advocacy group in Mitchell County, Iowa to plan, design, and construct natural surface singletrack trails on several properties. The work has included trail alignment, professional trail construction, and refinement of purpose built trails supporting mountain biking, hiking, and running, with winter use including snowshoeing and groomed trail experiences. These projects focus on creating sustainable trails that fit the landscape while expanding outdoor recreation opportunities for the community and surrounding region.
