Great Meadow Loop Project
2025 Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, ME

This trail connects the Town of Bar Harbor to Acadia National Park. Over the years the existing trail had become severely eroded because of increased storm damage. In the Fall of 2023, 2024 and 2025 (7 week contracts) the National Park and Friends of Acadia asked an AMC trail crew to come in and decrease the overall grade in sections, re-widen it and install various water drainage structures along the trail. I project managed the AMC crew on this project and did all the on the ground field logistics for machine and materials orders in addition to managing the crew. The crew finished anywhere from 1500 linear feet to 1700 linear feet of trail per year.
