Role: Designer/Wayfinding Design
Momentum Bike Park is a
premier new destination in Joplin, Missouri, created to
serve cyclists of all ages and skill levels across the southern
Missouri region. Funded by an APRA grant and the City of
Joplin, this park is designed to inspire outdoor recreation
and community connection. It features over 9 miles of
paved and natural surface mountain bike trails, an asphalt
pump track, a children’s bike playground, progressive
jump lines, and mountain bike skills development areas,
providing challenges and excitement for every rider.
The park is thoughtfully equipped with a bridge, pavilion,
modern restrooms, parking lots, and site lighting, ensuring a
safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors. DORA Bike Park
is more than just a recreation space—it’s a vibrant hub for
exploration, skill-building, and celebrating the joy of cycling in
a dynamic, natural setting.
