Bryce Canyon Hazard Tree Removal

Survey and evaluation of potential hazardous dead or dying trees near to Bryce Canyon scenic areas, picnic areas, roads and campgrounds, followed by felling, bucking, and removal of hazard trees. The main Park Road (UT-63) and both campgrounds within the park (North Campground and Sunset Campground) were cleared of hazard trees. Felling operations along the road involved the use of crew members as flaggers to halt traffic during felling operations.
