2022 River of No Return Wilderness
Role: Crew Leader
In the early spring of 2022, high stream flows washed out the approach to a complex trail bridge in the Wilderness, along a mainline trail open to stock travel. I scouted the project site and identified a need for gabion baskets as a foundation upon which to backfill. In September 2022, I led a crew of Wilderness Rangers on a six-day hitch to implement the plan.
