I am currently employed as Appalachian Mountain Club's Southern New England Trail Programs Manager. I manage our professional trail crews, our long-distance trail coordinators on the New England Trail and Bay Circuit Trail, and our facility coordinator at AMC's Noble View Outdoor Center. These days my work with AMC involves establishing and nurturing partner relations, trail planning and design, team management, budgeting, and much more. I have years of previous field experience working for various other land management agencies including the USFS as a Rocky Mountain Land Management Intern, for Colorado Mountain Club as a Stewardship Crew Lead, and Southwest Conservation Corps as a crew member, assistant crew lead, and crew lead. I am a certified crosscut and chainsaw sawyer, with extensive experience performing and managing crews in both front country and backcountry settings. I carry a degree in Natural Resource Management and two professional GIS certificates from Colorado Mountain College, as well as an Environmental Studies degree from Mount Holyoke College.
