I am a full-time, year-round member of the Trails Team for Massachusetts non-profit The Trustees of Reservations - perhaps the oldest conservation and preservation organization in the United States (founded 1891). I work collaboratively within our team - as well as with other teams across our statewide organization - to conduct routine trail maintenance, implement trail construction and rehabilitation projects, and train and lead seasonal employees and volunteers. I began my training in 2014/2015 with the SCA Massachusetts AmeriCorps progam (now known as Massachusetts Conservation Corps). Since then I have worked for a variety of agencies and non-profits including US Forest Service, National Park Service, Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards, and the Pisgah Conservancy. I have a broad range of trail skills and experience working in both backcountry and frontcountry contexts.
