Leanna currently leads the development of systems, services, and protocols to support Appalachian Trail Conservancy staff and a network of 30 private A.T. partners in volunteer development, technical trail skills, field leadership, sawyer safety, hazard tree protocols. Sustains and builds capacity for the A.T.'s volunteer management tradition that engages more than 6,000 volunteers, mobilized through grassroots partners in 14-states. Additionally, Leanna volunteers with the City of Asheville's Active Transportation Committee and Multi-modal Transportation Commission.
