I am the Trails Coordinator with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. I work with the Next Level Trails grant program and the mapping of shared use paths throughout Indiana. Previously, I worked in the planning department for the City of New Haven, Indiana. I worked with projects related to the City's Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals, zoning, the Unified Development Ordinance, site plan review, permitting, GIS applications, parks and trails, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, corridor plans, the City's comprehensive plan, and the park board. As an urban planner, I am interested in parks and trails, economic development, downtown revitalization, traditional neighborhood design, pocket neighborhoods, missing middle housing, retrofitting sprawl, transit oriented development, new urbanism, historic preservation, landscape architecture, and urban design.
