For over 10 years, I have been designing and leading field-based trail trainings for land agencies, conservation corps, and volunteer organizations in the Southwest. Trainings are customized for the participants and skills desired. The trainings emphasize the balance between environmental conditions (hydrology, soil types, placement within the watershed) and the user experience (use types, volume, desired experiences) to provide a holistic insight into good decision-making and quality trail work.
