Hi! My name is Anna and I'm the Program Manager for Washington and Oregon for Tread Lightly! I work collaboratively with land agencies, industry partners, and our members and volunteers to promote responsible outdoor recreation through stewardship, ethics education and communication that leads to sustainable use of our public lands and waterways, so that we have off-roading opportunities for generations to come.
My experience surrounding trail design and management comes from grass-root volunteer efforts in collaboration with land agencies. Studying specifications put forth by the land agencies, as well as researched best practices from trail advocacy organizations have aided me in sawyer and tread restorations on thousands of miles of trail throughout the western US.
