Galeo Saintz is the co-founder of South Africa’s two longest trail initiatives. For 10 years he served as the Founding Chair of the World Trails Network, an international non-profit. Galeo has first-hand experience in trail conception, organizational development and trail assessment and monitoring. He has consulted widely in relation to trail standards and trail signage. He gives public talks regularly and has presented at numerous international conferences advocating for trails, their benefits, and the role they play in reconnecting communities to nature, culture, and our unique and individual human story.
