After graduating from Bates College with a degree in geology and minor in math, I built mountain biking trails with central Maine NEMBA over the 2020 summer under the supervision of Will Libby. I worked as a geophysics field technican and lab technician for a couple years. I then got a certificate in GIS from Penn state where I learned mapmaking techniques, database management, pythonic automation of tasks, and pythonic creation of custom GIS tools. After that I went to UVM to get my masters in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus in hydrology and H&H modeling. My masters thesis was on increasing winter hydroclimate extremes in Burlington VT in the context of synoptic scale atmospheric circulations. I have proficiency in Python, GIS, HEC-RAS, and HydroCAD, and I'm currently searching for trail building jobs in New England that combine my knowledge of geology, math, and physical/stochastic hydrological modeling. Feel free to reach out if you have entry level positions open. Thanks!
