Winston-Salem Area TPO
WSATPO is in charge of planning transportation for the Winston-Salem Urban Area. This includes roads, buses, biking, walking, and more. We work with local, state, and federal governments to help improve how people and goods move around. Federal law says areas with over 50,000 people must have a group like this to plan transportation. WSATPO includes local leaders, the North Carolina Department of Transportation, and other groups who help make travel better in the region.
