With members from Huntsville to Mobile and throughout the region, the mission of AHTS is to plan, build and maintain safe non-paved, non-motorized hiking trails throughout the state so that everyone can explore Alabama's beautiful landscapes. AHTS is also committed to educating the public about the safe use of our trails, health benefits, Leave No Trace practices and ethics, and stewardship of our environment
