6. Who may be considered:

Passion for working in the mountain bike industry. Previous experience in trail building, bike park or bike feature construction such as berms, rollers, pumptracks, or wood features is preffered, but not required. Travel required if applicant is not already located in the Salt Lake area. Having a strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must. Work is performed 100% outside with exposure to the elements. Ability to work in strenuous physical conditoins. Abilty to work in all types of elements and weather conditions, Including wind, rain, snow, Hot and cold temperatures. Job requires frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting objects in excess of 50 lbs. Ability to follow instructions and work with others as a team towards project goals. Previous experience with oprating hand power tools and hand digging tools is prefered but not required for the hand crew position.

Job Description:

Hand Crew-
• Responsible for getting trail into ready to ride condition after heavy equipment has completed their work constructing the trail
• Follow instructions from equipment operators on quality of final trail condition
• Responsible for wood bike feature construction
• Be able to travel and live away from home for extended periods of time if applicant is not already located in Salt Lake City.
• Enjoy working outdoors
• Possess good stamina to be able perform strenuous physical tasks.
• Use equipment/tools/rocks, capable to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time and work an average of 8-10 hours/day.
• Safely operate and maintain hand tools, such as an axe, power drill, power saws, rake, hoe, shovel, handsaw, sledge hammer and loppers.
• Adhere to company and government policies and health and safety rules and guidelines ata ll times
